Course Highlights:

Learn to apply positive thinking in both your academic work and your personal life.

Experiential Learning assignments include exercises that will deepen your understanding of the role of positive thinking on your everyday life.

Learn how to present psychology research in a variety of formats and to a range of audiences, from layperson to expert.

Discuss and debate psychology with your prof and peers in small, confidence-inspiring seminars.

PSYC 335/3.0 Positive Psychology

Positive Psychology is the scientific study of optimal human functioning. Lectures review the history and empirical support in areas such as interpersonal relationships, and applying positive thinking. Homework assignments will include experiential exercises designed to foster an increased understanding of the role of positive psychology in everyday life.
