Travelling to the BISC
You must have proof of a negative coronavirus (COVID-19) test to travel to England. If you arrive in England without proof of a negative test result, you could be fined £500.
From 15 February 2021 onwards, everyone allowed to enter England from outside the Common Travel Area must:
- quarantine for 10 days
- take a coronavirus (COVID-19) test on Day 2 and Day 8 of your quarantine period
The BISC will follow this current guidance and implement a mandatory 10-day quarantine period upon your arrival at the BISC. All students will be required to take the two coronavirus tests as mandated by the UK Government on days 2 and 8 of the quarantine period. Full details of how these tests will be booked and taken will be communicated to students nearer your arrival date.
Returning to Canada
As of February 21, 2021, you must meet the new testing and quarantine requirements when entering Canada.
You must also have a quarantine plan in place that shows how you will quarantine for 14 days when you arrive in Canada. This plan is a mandatory entry requirement.
