The BISC has a long tradition of excellence in the Arts and Social Sciences, with classes and experiential learning that take full advantage of our location in the U.K. and proximity to Europe. Small classes allow students  to get their ideas heard; close contact with a diverse international  faculty fosters the development of undergraduates' achievement in their chosen fields. A committed and talented student body is encouraged to take initiatives and learn from one another, and every year there are many outstanding events both in and out of the classroom.
