Major Admission Awards
Incoming First Year students to the BISC may apply for Major Admission Awards in addition to be being considered for the awards listed above.- Maximum amount: Up to $15000 per year (varies by award)
- Audience: all incoming first year students to Queen's
- Basis of assessment: varies depending on the award but may include superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, and proven leadership. Financial need may be considered.
- Application deadline: December 1 2017

Tricolour Bursary
Incoming First Year students to the BISC may apply for an admission bursary in addition to be being considered for the awards listed above.- Maximum amount: Up to $7500 (first year only)
- Audience: all incoming first year students to BISC
- Basis of assessment: financial need
- Application deadline: February 15 2018

Upper Year Applicants
There are several bursaries available to all Upper Year students in their second or subsequent year of study. The objective of the bursary program is to assist students who demonstrate financial need by meeting a portion of their basic costs for attending the BISC.
- Maximum amount: Up to $5000 (Fall/Winter) and $2500 (Summer)
- Audience: upper year students (Queen's and non-Queen's)
- Basis of assessment: typically based on financial need
- Application deadline: students are encouraged to apply at time of application to study
