The BISC is a residential campus with 100% of students in residence. There is just the one residence on campus – Bader Hall – and while you will not be living in the Castle, you will be just a 5-minute walk away.
Living on campus, you’ll meet incredible people from around the world – students, staff, and faculty with diverse backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, values and interests. You’ll also be invited to participate in a variety of social activities, cultural events and educational programs.
Bader Hall is very similar to university residences in North America, offering co-ed halls, with twin-share, single-gender rooms. There are around 95 twin bedrooms in Bader Hall. Each student is provided with:
- Notice board
- Bedside Table
- Bedding (Sheets, duvet, pillow and covers - laundered weekly)
- Towels (Bath and Hand - laundered weekly)
All rooms have High-speed WiFi access and Ethernet connections
Kitchenettes, Laundry, and Washrooms
Each corridor has single-gender bathroom facilities, with toilet stalls, showers, and sinks. There are also a number of all-gender toilets and/or washing facilities.
Bader Hall comes equipped with a card-operated laundry facilities, as well as several kitchenettes, each containing a fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, sink, and storage units - all accessible at any time.
Study Spaces and Common Areas
There are two dedicated Common Rooms in Bader Hall, perfect for relaxing after a day spent in class. Bader Hall also has a number of study spaces suitable for personal or group study.
