The Many Identities Speaker series is led by Queen’s Yellow House, and funded by Queen’s Faculty of Arts and Science, and the Inclusive Community Fund, with labour and contributions from Yellow House, The Student Experience Office (Queen's Shift Project), and the Office of Faith and Spiritual Life.

This series seeks to honour intersectional 2SLGBTQ+ community members, empower, build community, and foster learning in the Queen's community. This year the Many Identities Speaker Series will be focusing on the intersection of queerness and spirituality.

Join us for a performance/speaking engagement with T Wise! T is a writer, educator and performer based in Brooklyn who weaves together storytelling, comedy, and poetry to engage in a range of topics from God to RuPaul, psychedelics to ethics, Jim Crow and juvenile jails to protest and prayer. Maneuvering the world as a big bodied Trans man and seeking balance as a (self-dubbed) bipolar bear, T uses his art and education to be honest about our hurting, our healing and everything in-between.

After the performance join us for a reflective learning session to explore and unpack what we learned from this speaker, or if you are a 2SLGBTQ+community member you are invited to join us for a private community meet and greet with T.

Speaking engagement will include light snacks and refreshments, private meet and greet will include additional food.
