Congratulations to our director, Kim Nossal, on being elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada.

The Fellowship of the Royal Society of Canada comprises over 2,000 Canadian scholars, artists, and scientists, peer-elected as the best in their field. These are distinguished men and women from all branches of learning who have made contributions in the arts, the humanities and the sciences, as well as in Canadian public life.

Prof Kim Nossal has published widely and influentially on Canada’s foreign and defence policy. Uniquely, his scholarship has successfully sought to build bridges to the significant francophone scholarly community examining Canada’s political role globally.

The induction ceremony will be held at the Royal Society of Canada's annual Celebration of Excellence and Engagement on Friday, Nov. 22.
