HALIFAX -- An alleged security breach at one of the Royal Canadian Navy's most sensitive security operations was the result of imprudence, not malice, says the navy's commander on the Atlantic coast.

The German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge is not for the faint of heart. With three different levels of achievement, each one takes military training and physical fitness. At the end of November members of the Princess of Wales' Own Regiment (PWOR), Royal Military College of Canada cadets and two Kingston Police officers achieved the badge after eight challenges.
