About:

Bibi is currently undertaking a Masters in Political Studies at Queen's, with a focus on new and emerging weapons technology, gender, and warfare. She aims to pursue a career in academia as a professor and policy consultant on the politics of weapons. At the CIDP, Bibi is the Project Coordinator for the Gender Lab, and an Assistant Editor for the CIDP’s blog: Contact Report. Bibi is the Graduate Representative with the Queen’s Chapter of Women In International Security (WIIS), and the Assistant to the Executive Director for the national branch WIIS-Canada. On campus, she volunteers as an Assistant Editor for The Observer, a publication about international affairs on campus, and advocates for sexual health education with the Sexual Health Resource Centre.
