Professor Christian Leuprecht appointed to Kingston Police Services Board

The Province of Ontario has appointed a local policing and policy expert to the Kingston Police Services Board for at least the next three years.

Christian Leuprecht is a professor of political science and policy studies at Royal Military College and Queen’s University as well as an adjunct research professor at the Australian graduate school of policing and security at Charles Sturt University in Sydney.

“I’m really excited that he has been appointed and I’m looking forward to him joining the board and showing us all up in a significant way,” chair of the board Andrea Risk said on Thursday at their March meeting.

Leuprecht has lived in Kingston for more than 20 years and told the Whig-Standard that he and his family feel blessed to be residing “in one of the most desirable places to live in the country.”
