Veteran Service Internship Partners

Canada Company, Toronto, Ontario

Canada Company began in 2006 and is a federally-incorporated not-for-profit organization. The organization has three main objectives, which include providing financial assistance to the families of fallen soldiers, aid in transitioning members of the CAF to find jobs in the corporate sphere, and developing educational initiatives for the military. Canada Company fostered the Canada Company Jobs Coalition, which seeks to promote the corporate hiring of 10, 000 veterans by 2023.

Additionally, the MET Program has been fostered to establish and nurture the relationship between CAF members and veterans, and public and private sector employers. Canada Company and the MET Program provides veterans and reservists access to company profiles of employer partners, tools for transitioning members that include resume writing assistance, documents to assist in identifying what the civilian equivalents are for military trade, as well as videos that inform about the Hidden Job Market.
