Administrative Staff

Our administrative staff play a vital role in the success of the Centre. Please see their profiles below for more information on what their primary roles at the Centre are:

Sandra is responsible for coordinating all programs, conferences and special projects.  She takes particular joy in organizing the annual Teaching Awards Reception which honors recipients from across campus for their tremendous work into the improvement of student learning.  Sandra is inspired by the many educators on campus who care as much about how they teach as what they teach.

She worked in the Centre since it opened in 1992, and is the sole remaining member of the inaugural team.  She has worked at Queen's since March 1988 and is a 2016 recipient of the Queen's University Staff Appreciation Award.

Louise is the Centre's Office Administrator. In her role as financial support to the Centre and members of the Teaching and Learning Portfolio, Louise reconciles, monitors and balances financial information for a number of people and projects related to Teaching and Learning across campus.

In her role as administrative support for the Associate Vice-Provost (Teaching and Learning), Louise acts as liaison for the Associate Vice-Provost, coordinating their schedule and arranging internal and external meetings and communications.

She has worked with the Centre since 2012 and has worked at Queen's since 2003.

A graduate of the Queen’s Economics program (’09), Kaitlin came to work for the Centre in October of 2010. Her primary responsibilities are acting as the Centre's receptionist by answering the main extension, monitoring the Centre's email and assisting members of the Centre with projects and programs where able and maintaining the new CTL website, .

In recent months she has had a more multi-media based work load assisting in the development of the Centre's new website, branding and social media presence and monitoring social media in the future.
