Dreaming big about learning

"A new initiative launched by Principal Daniel Woolf is asking faculty members to dream big about undergraduate teaching.

Principal’s Dream Courses is a new program that aims to enhance the student learning experience and promote undergraduate research and inquiry. The program makes funding available to help redesign an existing undergraduate course, in ways of which the instructor may only have dreamt."

Deadline for Principal's Awards Extended

The deadline for Principal's Awards has been extended!

The awards deadline is now Friday, October 16, 2015!

These awards are intended to celebrate teaching excellence and to increase trans-disciplinary exposure to exemplars in teaching and the diverse ways in which the student learning experience is enhanced by educators and educational supports at Queen’s. This happens at the at the course level, through focusing on teaching of strategic university goals as well as through individual and group efforts outside of specific courses, at the program or university-level.
