Time Management

As teaching assistants, we mostly have a long list of things we need to accomplish and generally, too little time to do them. Below you will find some useful resources via the hyperlinks that can help you manage your time effectively!

GENERAL TIME MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

  1. Google Calendar - Keep track of upcoming events and deadlines, have reminders sent to your email or cell phone, share your calendars with others (free Gmail account required)
  2. Yahoo Calendar - Keep track of upcoming events and deadlines, have reminders sent to your email or cell phone, share your calendars with others (free Yahoo account required)
  3. Todoist - A simple, free online task management system
  4. Evernote - Evernote allows you to easily capture information in any environment using whatever device or platform you find most convenient, and makes this information accessible and searchable at any time, from anywhere. (It's like a big virtual folder to keep clippings in for later reference).
  5. Google Documents - Working on a group document together? Try using Google Documents. No more sending different drafts back and forth and wondering which is the most current version (free Gmail account required)
  6. Doodle: Easy Scheduling - Need to schedule a meeting with a number of people? Don't send emails back and forth - use Doodle
