I have returned to academia after a multi-year break, while focusing on investigative journalism. I base my work on archival research, document analysis, along with first-hand interviews. Over six years of investigative journalism has given me extremely strong research gathering capabilities and techniques.
After six years of reporting and working as an editor for the grassroots news organization 'Media Coop', and their magazine 'The Dominion', in 2015 I wrote my first book 'Debriefing Elsipogtog – The Anatomy of a Struggle', published through Fernwood Publishing..
