Medial in DEVS

The Medial degree is intended for students who would like a strong concentration in Global Development Studies in combination with an equally strong concentration in another discipline. Medial degrees can be completed with most other departments in Arts and Science. Students apply to the Medial plan after their first year in Arts and Science and should have completed DEVS 100. 

A Medial consists of

  • 21.0 units in DEVS core courses and 21.0 units in DEVS of DEVS or DEVS Eligible Courses (for students registered prior to May 1, 2018 - see chart below)
  • 18.0 units in DEVS core courses; 3.0 units in DEVS_Language; 24 units of DEVS or DEVS Eligible Option Courses (for students registered after May 1, 2018 - see chart below)
  • 21.0 units in DEVS core courses; 3.0 units in DEVS_Language; 21 units of DEVS or DEVS Eligible Option Courses (for students registered after May 1, 2019 - see chart below)
