How to take DEVS 307 if you are not a Queen's Student

Students from other universities are welcome to apply to enroll in Cuban Culture and Society II for credit.  It is open to any student who can enroll in Queen’s courses with a Letter of Permission (LOP).

Non-Queen’s students should apply using the same application form and following the same deadlines as indicated on this website.

Once they have been accepted, off-campus students would take the Winter section of the course via a combination of on-line lessons, films we will make available, and regular participation in the in-class discussion component (Thursdays 6:30-9:30 pm) via Skype.

If students are able to participate in the pre-departure sessions on campus April 26, 2021 to April 29, 2021 that would be ideal.  We can help find on-campus residence accommodation or billets for off-campus students.  Students who cannot participate in this portion of the course on campus can continue to participate via Skype.

Off-campus students would pay the same program fee and participate in all of the Havana activities, departing and arriving from Pearson Airport in Toronto.
