Valerie Noftle is a Term Adjunct in Global Development Studies who brings with her diverse teaching experience at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. In addition to her interdisciplinary approach to teaching (in person or online), Noftle also weaves two decades of senior public service experience and expertise, representing Canada both at home and abroad, into the classroom. As a multimedia artist, Noftle's active studio practice plays a significant role in her current research where she seeks to facilitate communication, preserve memory and increase understanding among different peoples by creating visual bridges across cultures.
