Greg is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a graduate of the University of Toronto. He was most recently the Finance Manager for Development Services Ontario, Southeast Region and Extend-A-Family (Kingston). Previously, he has served as the Finance Director for other large non-profit corporations in the Kingston area, including Community Living Kingston and District. Greg also served over a decade with the Province of Ontario as a Financial Analyst and as the Kingston Manager of the Ontario Disability Support Program.
Greg has participated in a multitude of labour relations processes over the years including numerous collective agreement negotiations, the devolution of certain Provincial operations to the Municipality, and the merger of non-profit corporations. In his Finance Director roles, he has reported to Corporate Boards on financial matters and helped guide them through financial decisions. He has also implemented and managed various Human Resource Information Systems, Shift Scheduling Systems and Payroll Systems.
Greg’s career interest has been with organizations that support disabled or disadvantaged persons. This interest has also led him to volunteer as a Board member on non-profit Corporate Boards including a term as President of Lennox and Addington Family and Children’s Services (Children’s Aide Society).
