Bio

Anthony Giles spent the first half of his career as an academic teaching and conducting research into a wide range of labour and employment issues; he has spent the second half of his career as a public servant with the Federal Government working in the area of labour policy. He is currently an Assistant Deputy Minister in the Labour Program of Employment and Social Development Canada, where he is responsible for policy and research, mediation and conciliation services, and international and intergovernmental labour affairs.
