Governance, Policies and Regulations
Queen's University is renowned for its high quality education and the integrity of its programming. For academic matters, the Employment Relations Programs is governed by Queen’s University policies and procedures, specified by the School of Graduate Studies. Policies regarding academic matters are taken very seriously. It is the responsibility of all students and instructors to familiarize themselves with these policies and regulations.
University/SGS Policies
For policies that apply to the University as a whole, the governance regulations are set by the Board of Trustees and the Senate.
For all academic matters, the Employment Relations Programs is governed by Queen’s University policies and procedures, specified by the School of Graduate Studies, the Faculty of Arts and Science and/or the Senate.
General Regulations - Graduate level
For academic matters regarding the Graduate level programs that we offer, the general regulations are set by the School of Graduate Studies.
General Regulations - Undergraduate level
For academic matters regarding the Undergraduate level programs that we offer, the general regulations are set out by the Faculty of Arts and Science.
Departmental Policies
In order to best serve the students within our programs, the School of Graduate Studies allows flexibility in some procedures within the departments and programs under their portfolio. Students and instructors should refer to the Student and Faculty Portal for program-specific forms and processes in matters such as academic accommodations, grade appeals, incomplete marks, academic integrity, late work, etc.
