EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS DEPARTMENTAL SUPPORT

Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator, Ms. Anne-Marie Bergman, acts as the main administrative contact for all of the academic programs offered through the Employment Relations Programs. Her administrative responsibilities include:

•    addressing questions about course offerings, program structure and degree completion;
•    graduate: academic advising, course registration, timetable planning, information dissemination and support for academic accommodations, exams timetabling and USAT distribution.

Undergraduate Chair, Employment Relations Programs 
Our Undergraduate Chair, Dr. Glenda Fisk, is responsible for the ongoing academic functioning of the Employment Relations Certificate, General BA, and Minor programs including:

•    answering general questions on course content, learning expectations and program structure;
•    addressing appeals;
•    representing the program at undergraduate studies meetings, ensuring compliance with faculty and university policies.

Graduate Coordinator, Master of Industrial Relations Programs
The Graduate Coordinator, Dr. Jacoba Lilius, is responsible for the ongoing academic functioning of the MIR and PMIR programs including:

•    answering general questions on course content, learning expectations and program structure;
•    managing course failures and student discipline, and addressing appeals;
•    overseeing allocation of departmental scholarship or bursary funds (if applicable);
•    representing the program at graduate studies and arts and science meetings, ensuring compliance with faculty and university policies.

Director, Employment Relations Programs
The Director of the Employment Relations Programs, Dr. Robert Hickey, is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day, as well as the strategic direction of the programs. The director is also responsible for all academic matters related to the MIR and PMIR programs.

University Registrar
Visit the registrar’s office should you have questions about your tuition and fees, SOLUS (online system available to students for monitoring fees and records) transcripts, Convocation, and distributing student ID cards.

Student Wellness Services
For all your accessibility, counseling, student health, wellness, and academic accommodation needs, Student Wellness Services provides a welcoming, confidential, and integrated service. Student Wellness Services is open in Mitchell Hall from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.  Please call 613-533-2506 in advance for in-person medical or crisis counseling appointments. Some medical, mental health, accessibility, and health lifestyle appointments are available remotely.

Queen's Society of Graduate and Professional Students
The Society of Graduate and Professional Students offers a variety of services to Queen’s graduate students including health and dental plans, financial awards, advocacy, and housing information.

Athletics and Recreation
There are plenty of ways to be active at Queen's! Choose from over 30 recreation clubs or 50 fitness classes. Or, cheer for one of the many Gael’s teams at a home game!

Queen's University International Centre (QUIC)
Queen’s hosts an incredible number of international students each year. The Queen’s University International Centre (QUIC) is a support service for all members of the Queen’s community and through its activities promotes an internationally informed and cross-culturally sensitive learning environment. QUIC builds community among students and with the broader Queen's community. Our lounge provides a comfortable setting for relaxation, reading, conversation, and meeting people from other countries.
