QNS Env. Geochem Candidate Public Seminar: 1) Sasha Wilson

Sasha Wilson currently of Monash University, Australia, will be the first of four candidates up for a Queen's National Scholar position in Environmental Geochemistry, jointly supported by the Department of Geological Sciences and the School of Environmental Studies. 

Dr. Wilson will be delivering two presentations:

“The stability of carbon dioxide storage in (sticky) minerals” 
Monday, February 6th, 2016

UPCOMING SEMINAR: Nov, 9th Seminar Series Film Screening: "The Messenger"

On November 9, 2016 at 7:00pm in the Dupuis Auditorium, Queen's School of Environmental Studies and the Department of Biology present a screening of the award winning documentary:

"The Messenger

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Stephen Lougheed, Biology.

UPCOMING SEMINARS: Canada Research Chair Candidate Presentations/Interviews

The Queen's community and the general public are encouraged to attend a series of three presentations by candidates for the Canada Research Chair in Economy and Environment. This event and the Canada Research Chair position is a joint effort with the Queen's Department of Global Development Studies. The successful candidate will hold a joint appointment with the School of Environmental Studies and the Department of Development Studies.
