Description:

In today’s fast-paced and often high-pressure work environments, leaders play an important role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of their teams. Creating a workplace where individuals feel safe, supported, and able to seek help starts with awareness, but it also requires the confidence to act.

In this session, facilitated by TELUS Health, participants will explore how to recognize early signs of mental health concerns and respond in a way that is supportive, respectful, and appropriate. Using practical scenarios, the session will focus on building skills for meaningful conversations, reducing stigma, and fostering a culture of openness and trust.

Participants will also gain a better understanding of common mental health conditions, how they may present in the workplace, and what leaders can do to support employees during periods of stress or challenge.
