OHIP Coverage during COVID
Ontario is waiving the three-month waiting period for Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) coverage. Normally, you would be required to enroll in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) during the waiting period. This is currently not required.

OHIP application during Self Isolation
If you are self-isolating, you cannot go to ServiceOntario to register for coverage. It is recommended to take out private travel insurance in your country of origin prior to your trip to cover you during the quarantine period.
