The School of Urban and Regional Planning (SURP) at Queen's is involved in research activities covering land use, housing, services and the environment.
The faculty's professional and research activities are policy oriented. All faculty members are practicing professional planners who maintain a high visibility within the planning profession, through their work on a broad range of topics. Faculty members have written planning textbooks used at Queen's University and other Planning Schools around the World and have won national awards of distinction for their work as professional planners.
