Scott MacKenzie’s current research addresses global Arctic moving images cultures; process and handmade films (and experimental media more generally); national and transnational identity in global film and media; moving images as public and counter public spheres; and Situationist practices. His supervisory fields include the above, as well as: Canadian/Québécois cinemas; critical theory; moving image manifestos; the uses and abuses of found footage and archival materials; and European cinemas.
