T4 Information

2017 Tax Slips

Active Employees

2017 Electronic Tax Slips are now available via MyHR Self Service. 

2017 Printed Paper Tax Slips were sent to Canada Post on February 27, 2018 and will be delivered to the home address on file. 

Inactive Employees

When employment with the University ends, access to MyHR is suspended.  Payroll services will therefore mail out your Tax Slip to the home address on file by February 28, 2018.

To View or Print your T4/T4A Electronically:

  • Log into MyHR Self Service
  • Select Payroll and Compensation
  • Select View T4/T4A Slips
  • Click on the Year End Slip link

If you do not see your 2017 Tax Slip, please check your T4/T4A Consent Status.  If you have not consented, you will receive a Printed Paper Tax Slip mailed to your home address on file.  You can consent for next years electronic Tax Slips by following the instructions as outlined on the Human Resources T4/T4A Tax Slip webpage.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties (Password, NetID, PeopleSoft Access, etc.) please contact IT Services at 613.533.6666

Browser Issues?

If you are experiencing difficulty in your current browser, try another.  We suggest Internet Explorer.  If alerted by Pop-up in browser to enable Plug-in, click Enable link.

Questions regarding your Tax Slip?

If you have a question regarding your Tax Slip, please email payroll.services@queensu.ca  Please remember to include your full name and your Employee ID Number in your correspondence.

Requesting copies of 2017 and Past Tax Slips

To request a copy of your Tax Slips for 2017 and/or prior years, please complete the Payroll - Tax Slip Copy Request form

Please note:  Requests for 2017 Tax Slip copies will only be accepted after March 9, 2018.  This will allow sufficient time for Canada Post deliveries.
