Community Outreach

Taylor Day (JD) is a two-spirit deer clan member from Akwesasne Mohawk Territory and is the Indigenous Community Outreach Liaison at Four Directions. Taylor is available to all prospective and incoming Indigenous Queen's students to answer questions and concerns regarding:
- Programs offered at Queen's and their admission requirements
- Application requirements
- Navigating financial award applications
- Applying for funding through your band council
- Residence and housing
- Indigenous student supports and resources
- The Indigenous Student Admission Pathway
Taylor is available for email correspondence or one-on-one virtual appointments for prospective and incoming Indigenous students and those Indigenous community members looking into starting or continuing their post-secondary journey at Queen's.
Taylor also collaborates with community partners and organizations to develop Indigenous-focused programming and services for prospective, incoming, and secondary school students. If you would like to discuss potential partnership opportunities, please reach out!

Indigenous Students Admission Pathway
We offer Indigenous candidates an additional and alternative pathway for admission to the first year of a full-time, first-entry undergraduate degree program, known as the Indigenous Admission Policy.
