A. Those students who spend their third-year on exchange at a French-speaking university or who are fluent in French are not required to take FREN 320/3.0. An alternate FREN course may be substituted with the permission of the Undergraduate Chair.

Students should note that FREN 106/3.0, FREN 107/3.0, FREN 111/3..0, FREN 112/3.0 and FREN 118/3.0 may not be used towards the requirements of this Plan. Students may not register for, or receive credit for, courses that are at a level lower than their current level of ability. This is particularly true of the 100-level course sequence that contains One-Way Exclusions.
