Law Times: International child abductions need careful legal approach
Professor Bala says some countries that don’t participate in the Hague Convention, such as India, do still recognize some Canadian orders involving children. That leaves several countries that don’t recognize Canadian law, which could prove problematic to having a child ever returned.
