Globe and Mail: Sexual-assault testimonies of intellectually disabled people should be judged free from stereotypes: Supreme Court Dr. Jones was an expert witness in a Supreme Court case that focused on sexual-assault complainants with intellectual disabilities. Dr. Jones helps to explain what the term "suggestible" means – that a complainant could tailor courtroom testimony or reports to police and social workers to be in line with suggestions made to them. |
