Available Expert - Amazon will now deliver to your car

Tuesday, April 24, 2018

Queen’s University business expert John-Kurt Pliniussen is available to comment on Amazon beginning delivery to some vehicles for Prime members. Today, the company began offering delivery in 37 cities to General Motors or Volvo vehicles, and will be expanding the number of locations and brands of vehicles in the coming months.

“Many people spend most of their time at home or in their vehicles,” says Dr. Pliniussen. “With the new into-my-car delivery app and option, Amazon once again makes it so easy for the millions of Prime members to do business with them. Amazon will deliver to your vehicles, and unlock and lock them again without you having to be there. It’s almost like they are becoming part of the family! This is another example of how the Amazon business juggernaut will gain more market share from other retailers because it knows how important convenience is.”
