Tuesday, November 24, 2020

Queen’s University expert and astrophysicist Nikhil Arora is available to comment on China’s latest space mission to the moon. The Chang 5 mission lifted off Tuesday morning. The four modules of the spacecraft blasted off atop a massive Long March-5Y rocket from the Wenchang launch centre on Hainan island.

“This is the first mission in 44 years to bring back samples from the moon. The moon is a relic from the early ages of the solar system. Samples from it will allows us to learn more about where we came from,” says Arora.
