Available Expert - Debate continues over Brexit

Monday, December 17, 2018

Queen’s University professor Grant Amyot, an expert in the European Union, is available to comment on Brexit and the future of Theresa May. This morning, the British prime minister argued a second Brexit referendum would violate public trust. A growing number of politicians are saying the only way to break the political logjam over Brexit is with a new vote.

“As the deadline for Britain's departure from the European Union approaches, there is still no agreement in London on what form Brexit should take or indeed whether it should happen at all,” says Dr. Amyot. “There are many scenarios that could play out over the next three months."
