AVAILABLE EXPERT - Pink Shirt Day takes a stand against bullying

Wednesday, February 24, 2016

Queen’s University anti-bullying expert Wendy Craig is available to talk about Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt day is a national event encouraging Canadians to wear pink shirts and take a stand against bullying by raising awareness of the problem.

“Pink Shirt Day reminds each of us that we can make a difference and stand by others to prevent bullying,” says Dr. Craig. “Today is the official Pink Shirt Day, but we need to work to engage in behaviours to prevent bullying every day.”
