KINGSTON – Queen’s University will announce the name of the 21st Principal and Vice-Chancellor during a special event on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018.

The Principal and Vice-Chancellor Designate appointment announcement follows a months-long national and international search process launched earlier this year. The selected candidate will officially assume the role of Principal and Vice-Chancellor on July 1, 2019.

Current Principal and Vice Chancellor Daniel Woolf will host the announcement event, which will include statements from Chancellor James Leech, Board of Trustees Chair Donald Raymond, Rector Alexandra da Silva and the Principal and Vice-Chancellor Designate.

The announcement will be made on Monday, Nov. 5 at Queen’s University’s Stauffer Library in the Alan G. Green Fireplace Reading Room at 10 am EST.

Notes for the Media:

A livestream of the event begins at 10 a.m. and will be available on the Queen’s University website, as well as on Queen’s University’s Facebook Page as a Facebook Live broadcast.
