Available Expert - Trans Mountain pipeline could be in jeopardy

Monday, April 9, 2018

Queen’s University environment and energy expert Warren Mabee is available to comment on Kinder Morgan suspending non-essential Trans Mountain pipeline work. Environmentalists and Indigenous leaders are saying the company finally appreciates the intensity of the opposition and that the future of the pipeline is in doubt.

“Does the decision by Kinder Morgan to suspend work on the Trans Mountain pipeline spell the end to the project,” asks Dr. Mabee. “Or is this simply a tactic to put pressure on governments to get the project approved?”
