Available Expert - Trump, Trudeau to meet in Washington

Queen's University political expert Kim Nossal is available to comment on the first meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. The outcome of the meeting, between two G8 leaders with staunchly contrasting approaches, could have a profound impact on a wide range of issues - including trade, defence and the economies of both nations. Prime Minister Trudeau is expected to land in Washington D.C. shortly before 11 am this morning.

Dr. Kim Nossal is a professor in the Department of Political Studies and the School of Policy Studies at Queen's University. His research focuses on topics including Canadian foreign and defence policy and Canada-U.S. relations. He is available by phone for print interviews only.
