Available Expert - Tsunami warnings issued for Alaska, British Columbia and US west coast

Queen’s University coastal engineer Ryan Mulligan is available to comment on the tsunami warning that had been issued following a 7.9 magnitude earthquake that struck off the coast of Alaska.

Dr. Mulligan is a coastal engineer and oceanographer with interests in the physical forces that cause changes to coastal regions and the ways in which coastal regions respond. He focuses particularly on surface waves, ocean currents, the transport of sediments and contaminants , and geomorphology of coastlines and seabeds.
