Media Advisory - Conversations confronting COVID-19: Aging

KINGSTON  

The COVID-19 pandemic has threatened our health and communities, including some of our most vulnerable populations, such as the elderly.  The expert panel will take a closer look at the national and global response to the pandemic, and what it has taught us about our preparedness for such a pandemic.  Some of the important questions include the lessons learned around long term care, and  how the pandemic will influence our long term strategy for healthy aging.  

The event is being moderated by Jane Philpott, Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences; Director, School of Medicine, Queen’s University
