Media Advisory - Queen's Bachelor of Fine Arts graduates host final public art exhibition

KINGSTON – Queen’s University’s Ontario Hall has been transformed into an art gallery this week as the 2018 Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) graduates host their final exhibition from April 23 to April 28.

The exhibition, called (Un)titled., is a free public art show and a Fine Arts tradition at Queen’s that showcases work by the graduating class. Students will display the artwork created for their thesis projects, which will include paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, installation work, performance art, new media, and more.

The exhibition Faculty lead, Queen’s Fine Arts lecturer Alejandro Arauz, will be on hand for interviews, as well as the event’s student co-chair, Leigha Stiles. Many of the graduates will also be present to discuss their work.

Media is invited to attend the event on Thursday, April 26 at 11 a.m. for a viewing and interviews.
