Media Advisory - Queen's University Ontario Election Expert List

The Ontario election campaign is now underway. The following Queen's University experts are available to speak to media about various aspects of the four-week election campaign.

Voters head to the polls on June 2.


Tim Abray PhD Candidate Tim Abray can speak to advertising and political communications, discussions around democratic systems, campaign strategy, and voter dynamics. 


Kathy Brock Dr. Brock can talk about various issues that arise during the election campaign, as well as  party strengths, weaknesses, strategies and tactics, campaign strategies, political issues and priorities of parties, and leadership strengths. She also has a Greater Toronto Area focus. 


Stéphanie Chouinard . Dr. Chouinard can speak to federal-provincial relations and francophone affairs. Dr. Chouinard is also on the advisory panel for the Vote Compass project so she can access data on public opinion during the election. 


Dax D’Orazio  Dr. D’Orazio can speak to key issues in Northern Ontario (healthcare, resource development, transportation, etc.), public accountability and transparency, environmental regulations and climate change, the state of public discourse, extremism and polarization, and anything related to free expression. 


Jonathan Rose  Dr. Rose can talk about the campaign ads of the three parties.
