Bruce Wing fume hood shutdown rescheduled

The fume hood shutdown originally scheduled to affect Bruce Wing from Tuesday, August 11 to Thursday, August 13 (inclusive) has been rescheduled to Monday, August 17 through Thursday, August 20 (inclusive) while a crew replaces a damaged coil on the cooling tower that serves the upper floors of the building. No fume hood activity will be permitted during this period.

A crane will be on-site on Tuesday, August 18th to lift the new coil onto the roof. There may be intermittent noise interruptions while this work is completed.

A separate notice will be issued when the repairs are completed to advise that fume hood activity can resume. Any questions or concerns regarding this planned work should be directed to Fixit by phone at extension 77301 or by e-mail.
