Campus Electricity Demand Reduction Notification: July 4-8

In order to reduce electricity costs and contribute to the sustainability of the province’s energy system, the university is once again participating in an electricity peak demand reduction program.

Due to persisting high temperatures and humidity across the province, today (Wednesday, July 4) will be an electricity peak demand reduction day. Attached is a notification bulletin detailing the buildings that will be affected by the reduction today as well as a forecast through July 8. A separate notice will be issued each of the next two mornings to either confirm or cancel the reduction for July 5 and 6, respectively.
