Campus Electricity Demand Reduction Notification: Tuesday, Aug. 28

In order to reduce electricity costs and contribute to the sustainability of the province’s energy system, the university is once again participating in an electricity peak demand reduction program.

Due to high temperatures and humidity levels across the province, there will be an Electricity Demand Reduction today (Tuesday, Aug. 28). Attached is a notification bulletin detailing the buildings that will be participating in the reduction today as well as a forecast through Friday, Aug. 31. A separate will be issued tomorrow to either confirm or cancel the reduction for Wednesday, Aug. 29.
