Find out who will represent Queen’s at 3 Minute Thesis Ontario 2020

How can you sniff out breast cancer?

How do you separate oil and water?

And what can we learn from the case of a historical city of spies...in three minutes or less?

These are but three of the nine topics being addressed by competitors in this year’s 3 Minute Thesis competition Final at Queen’s.

This annual challenge tasks graduate students with streamlining their years of research work into a concise and compelling three minute presentation. These presentations are judged by a panel of volunteers from the Queen’s community who select an overall winner who will represent Queen’s at the provincial level.

The runner-up also receives a prize and, just by tuning in, you’ll have the opportunity to vote for a People's Choice winner.

To ensure the safety of all participants and allow the broader Queen's community to tune in, this event is being held virtually this year.

Watch the final live on Thursday, May 21, starting at 3 pm EDT. Go to the School of Graduate Studies website for more details.
