New Learning Catalogue to launch Sept. 1

Workplace certificates like ‘From Diversity to Inclusion’ and ‘Process Management’ will be available.

Queen’s staff and faculty will once again have the opportunity to learn new skills, improve their wellness, and understand different perspectives with the launch of the 2021-22 Human Resources Learning Catalogue. With over 120 offerings including certificate programs, individual workshops, and health and fitness classes, the catalogue offers a variety of opportunities for self-improvement and professional development. Due to the ongoing pandemic, all workshops will be delivered virtually for the fall 2021 term, with the possibility of in-person delivery for 2022.

Several certificate programs will be available this year including the Process Management Certificate by Excellence Canada, Queen’s Volunteer Engagement Certificate, ‘From Diversity to Inclusion’ Certificate, the Certificate in Workplace Communications, and the Certificate in International Perspectives, to name a few.

In an effort to support personal wellness, several workshops by Queen’s Employee and Family Assistance Program provider, LifeWorks, will be scheduled throughout the year. Events planned for November’s Thrive Week will also be added to Learning Catalogue for easy registration as they become available. ARC fitness classes will continue to be held virtually.
