The new site consolidates information from the PPS, Parking Services, and Sustainability websites.
As part of the process to rebrand Physical Plant Services (PPS) as Facilities, a new Facilities website has launched that brings together information from PPS, Parking Services, and the Sustainability Office.
“This new name and refreshed website reflects the wide variety of work done within the Facilities portfolio, which oversees the construction, operation, and maintenance of campus buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. All the services we offer to support our clients across the university community are now more clearly highlighted and easily accessible through our new website,” says John Witjes, Associate Vice-Principal (Facilities).
On the new website, users can learn about the services offered by Facilities, find out about COVID-19 cleaning protocols on campus, and submit maintenance requests. Other highlights include an alternative transportation calculator, information on the Transpass program, and a signup link for secure bike storage.
Existing physical assets, such as fleet vehicles and uniforms, will continue to reference PPS until each is due for replacement. Links to the old sites and content will redirect users to the new site.
