Overhead work at Theological and Kingston Halls

    Theological Hall

Contractors will be removing stone by crane at various locations around the perimeter of Theological Hall on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, starting on the north side and working clockwise around the building.

While work is occurring overhead in an area, entry/exit doors will be temporarily restricted to emergency exit only. (Doors will be signed, taped off, and identified accordingly.) When the work proceeds to another area of the perimeter, the entry/exit door will be restored back into service.

The contractors will also be taping off a safe work area around their crane, and work/entry to this area will be prohibited. This work may also affect and interrupt other adjacent construction (e.g. sewer separation project) because of this work overhead.

    Kingston Hall

Activity associated with the replacement of the slate roof at Kingston Hall has moved to the north side of the building. All building occupants and visitors (including camp leaders and campers) should use the south main entrance or southwest accessible entrance of Kingston Hall as the primary points of entry/exit until this project work is completed.

Note: The north entrances are safe to use in the event of an emergency, but should not be used for regular entry/exit given the proximity to the contractor hoarding and above-referenced activity.

Any questions or concerns regarding current projects on campus should be directed to Fixit by phone at extension 77301 or by e-mail.
